An epic week continues. Stranger Things and Obi Wan have been ruling the internet this past weekend but Thor came along and said “Hold my beer”.
The exciting 2nd trailer for Thor dropped tonight during the NBA playoffs. We get our first look at Christian Bale as the Gorr, God Killer, Russell Crowe as Zeus, more Jane and Thor goodness as well as something for the ladies.
There are some things we noticed right off the bat. The trailer begins with Korg telling the tale of “Thor Odinson, the space viking” and refers to him by saying “He was no ordinary man, he was a God”. Is this implying he’s speaking of Thor in the past tense? Does Thor perish in this film?
We also get an exchange between Jane and Thor where jane asks “How long has it been, 3? 4 years?” to which Thor responds “8 years, 7 months 3 days”. One could easily pass this off as the breakup hit Thor harder than it hit Jane.. but thats a 5 year gap? was Jane blipped?
These questions will be answered in the film coming July 8th
